Support Michigan Musicians with MusicTown Detroit's Headline From Home

Headline from Home

For local musicians, live performances are crucial to both their livelihoods and the promotion of their music.

During a time where tours have been canceled and venues are closed until further notice, we wanted to come up with an alternative way to help highlight the talented and hardworking musicians of Michigan!

In the spirit of supporting our local music community, MusicTown Detroit presents Headline from Home.

Post a video or live stream of yourself performing original music at home on your Facebook or Instagram, tag MusicTown Detroit and use the hashtag #HeadlineFromHome.

MusicTown will highlight a different musical artist or band every day by sharing the videos across our social media channels and on our website.

We'll also let people know where they can find and download the artists' music, buy their merch, and be talking with artists about the best ways to support to the local music and arts community during this difficult time.

If you enjoy seeing live music at any of the great venues and bars around Michigan, now is your time to give back! Share this post, and be sure to use the hashtag #HeadlineFromHome.
